A good thing about modern technology is that your best friend of nearly fourteen years can move to Sydney and you not only get to keep in touch but go and visit regularly and meet all their new friends. The above amazing collection is, for me, a product of such a circumstance. Maryanne Edwards is one half of wonderscease with Emma Fitzgerald. The above is a few shots from the Winter 2010 lookbook, and the girls have recently completed their third season collection. So, onto the clothes. Texture, check. Metallics, check. Sheer layers, check. Shoulder embellishments, check. Electric color highlights, check. These girls have got it all right - although I never wear trousers I have witnessed the glory of those metallic brocade ones on Caroline and they are magnificent and tempting. I can't wait to see what these girls get up to next and am keen to get some Wonderscease in my wardrobe this season. If you are lucky enough to be in Sydney for RAFW this week, mosy along down to the Fashion Forward Festival at Paddington Town Hall this weekend and check out their work in person.
