Hello Morning

A peek inside Auckland vintage store owner and stylist Charlotte Rust's home, as pictured by Todd Selby. She has what I consider to be the most perfect assortment of taxidermy, how epic are the pair of deer in the top photo! I'm getting really excited for my trip to New Zealand in August and having a scout through the op shops and vintage stores of Auckland and Wellington for some furry goodies of my own.

We Are the Sleepyheads

Trish' street style in Sydney via We The People

Trish from No Art wandered into Boxvintage while I was working yesterday, looking incredible in head to toe pastel print Bernard Willhelm. I'm inspired to get back into wearing printed leggings for winter after our brief but lovely encounter..

When You Dance You Really Love

I'm really feeling this wild 70's hippy vibe at the moment and my old friend Dave seems to be living the dream by the looks of his travel photos. Very jealous..

You Can Smoke, and Choke and Rock My Mind

This headpiece is currently at the Stephen Jones curated Hats exhibition at the Queensland Art Gallery. I recently had a couple come in Boxvintage who had come up from Melbourne to see the exhibitions at GoMA and QAG. It's so exciting to see Brisbane growing up! The exhibition is amazing, definitely worth a visit and this hat is one in particular I wouldn't mind in my own wardrobe.

Every print and detail in this collection, utter perfection. I would wear every piece.

I'm looking forward to wearing some clashing colors and textures this weekend after a busy and bland working week. My friend Tommy is having a a party for one of his installation pieces at a local art space, should be an afternoon of colorful characters and chilled drinks, then the next day I'll be heading up to the dream house at Coolum for some quality beach time.
