Mansini

Photographer: David Collins
Makeup and Hair: Davina Faye
Styling: Sarah Birchley

A sneak preview of a shoot from late last year. Luke Mansini is a long time friend and creative collaborator, and a very talented visual artist and musician. He has recently launched his solo project, which you can check out here. I always have the best time on shoots with this team and Luke really pushes the boundaries for his vision to be realised in everything he approaches.

Special thanks to Ruby and Prankstar and Boxvintage for your support on this project.

So I've been a terribly slack blogger of late! Photoshoots and work has been keeping me busy.. here's a little preview of a project I've been working at on and off for the last 12 months. Luke Mansini is an incredibly talented musician, artist and all round amazing creative individual. This is a peek at part of the epic shoots we have been working on to launch his solo project MANSINI. Keep your eyes peeled ladies and gentlemen, Luke is definitely one to watch.

Safari

Illustrations by Victoria Topping

I've got some really amazing styling projects in the works for the next month or so, one of which I'll share with you today. Maxine Thompson and I share a serious love of all things big cat and leopard print and we happen to also be nearly neighbours. Maxi is a final year fashion student at QUT and I'm going to be helping out styling her lookbook and a creative shoot later in the next couple of weeks. The above illustrations are of some pieces from the collection and as you can see there are some seriously fun pieces to work with - I'm very excited!

Punks Jump up to Get Down

Photography: Conan Whitehouse
Hair and Makeup: Elana Mullaly
Styling: Sarah Birchley
Model: Kiri Crocker

Here's a series that we shot with Kiri earlier this year for Hell Yeah Magazine. Been so super keen to see the mag with our shoot in it, and now that its out I could not be more proud, particularly of Kiri. She worked so hard at this shoot and it definitely has paid off in her growing to be a really versatile model. This is just the first half of our shoot for the mag - the rest I will post soon.

Thanks to Boxvintage, Priya Cox and my little bro Karl for the clothes.

Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga

One project that I was working on earlier this year was an editorial for the upcoming issue of Hell Yeah magazine. They've announced that the much awaited launch party will be held at Zuri on Sunday 27th June - it will be Warhol's factory themed, and, if anything as wild as the photos from the 1st issue's launch party look - it will be a night to be remembered! I'm very excited to see how our shoot looks in print and how the magazine came together as a whole. The team that collaborated for this issue are all amazing and I can't wait to see it!
